Seeds of Corruption
A twisted doctor and cultist. DECEASED
Doctor Sieger was a short, emaciated man in his mid-20s, dressed in smart city clothes. When tending to the wounded in the hospice, he wore a white physician’s apron, stained in blood, over his clothes. He reeked of what smelled like strong, medicinal herbs.
Dr. Sieger said he trained in the great city of Nuln and the beastman attacks had made his skills all the more important. This was a lie, he was little more than a quack herbalist who’s medical skills where infernally gained.
He met Don when the witch visited the hospice. They spoke briefly but the doctor was too busy to engage in any more chatter.
Sieger began to heavily poison Brottor as soon as the ailing dwarf came to him for aid. He also tried to poison Don Quince with a schlaf-laced healing draught but the witch seemed able to resist most of its effects.
Shortly before dinner the doctor injected all but one of his patients with a nerve poison, stopping their hearts and making it look like they succumbed to their injuries. He murdered Brottor, Korden, and the two guards in his care. He also slipped Sonja some schlaf, which caused her to pass out on a spare cot. He gave the gardener a clean bill of health and they both went downstairs for dinner.
During dinner the cult became aware that someone had tipped off the fact that the venison was poisoned with schlaf, and they became wary of the newcomers. After dinner Sieger, the gardener, and the librarian tried their best to keep the newcomers busy while the rest of the cult went through with the ritual. Things did not work out to their liking, however, when Ivellios separated himself from the group and made off on his own. Otto quickly went after him while Sieger and the gardener tried to murder Don. In the ensuing fight Sieger was lit on fire and collapsed at the doorway.
